I love a hot firefighter and Paige Tyler delivers the goods. Her writing flows well and kept me in my seat throughout the story. But I have to add, I’ve been a fangirl of Ms. Tyler’s for quite a while. I know when I pick up one of her books, I’ll be transported to another world and will leave with a happy ending. This book was no different. I needed to know what would happen to Jax and Skye next.

I’m a sucker for second chance romance and a romance where well, things we’re really meant to be the first time around. Jax, while a little gruff around the edges, is a great hero. Big heart, warm smile and those muscles… oh and he’s got a ranch. He’s definitely swoon-worthy. He’s also a good match for Skye. She’s feisty, funny and I’m glad I got to read about her. She’s a strong character. Very good.

Now I won’t go into too much detail, but the baddie is really bad. The action Skye and Jax deal with is definitely adrenaline-pumping. Then there’s the hot scenes and I’m not talking about the fires. Jax and Skye will certainly steam your e-reader screen.

If you want a story that’s got heat, heart and action, then this might be the book for you. Recommended.
