Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.

But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband and she’s not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse—she doesn’t know his real name or where he lives, she’s ninety percent certain he’s a criminal and that the “business” he talks with her brother isn’t website design. She needs him out of her life, which would be a snap if he’d just stop giving her mind-blowing orgasms.

Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not interested in becoming “property of”.

Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very, very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.

Maybe.

Reapers Property is one hot read. Totally awesome, and I loved it. Right from the start I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride.

Marie just got out of a bad marriage with a  man who liked to beat on her. She’s been staying with her pot head brother who’s got some shady deal going on with the Reapers Motorcycle Club. Marie meets Horse when he comes by the trailer on business, and they hook up.

Horse has got it bad for Marie, and offers her a leather cut with “Property Of Horse” on it. Which in the biker world is the same as a proposal. But Marie has a dumb blonde moment and flips out and rejects Horse. Things go down hill from there and it starts to look like it’s over for good. Then Marie’s brother gets caught with his greedy hands in the cookie jar. Marie comes home to find her little brother in a bloody mess and a scary biker dude holding a gun to his head. Marie has a choice to make: She can come home with Horse as collateral or watch her brother die.

Marie gets an up close and personal look into the dark and gritty world of the Motorcycle Club. She has a few more dumb blonde moments, and Horse makes a couple of mistakes along the way. At one point I was really disappointed in our hero because, let’s face it, there are some lines that you just don’t cross. But they couldn’t stay mad at each other forever, and those love scenes got hotter and hotter and the suspense kept building.

I absolutely loved this story. The hero was one of the most compelling characters I’ve found. Horse was a bad ass biker dude, and a true alpha male. He’s crude and possessive. He’s shameless and offers no apologies. He’s deep into the MC life, and he takes what he wants.  He wanted Marie so he took her. He was rough, but with Marie we saw his tender side, which only endeared him all the more. Lucky, Lucky Girl.

Marie was stronger than she seemed. She may have been oblivious to the MC world at first, and yeah, she made a few mistakes, but she came into her own by the end. She had a thing for Horse and you could see that she trusted him. Even when he was mad at her and acted like a jerk. And even though she didn’t know what to expect, she didn’t judge their lifestyle, she saw that they really were a society unto themselves. They had their own code of honor, and were fiercely protective of their “family”.

Bravo to Ms. Wylde for pulling no punches with this story. It was gritty and raw, and downright raunchy. The readers got an insightful look into the world of the MC. I liked Ms. Wylde’s down-n-dirty biker world. It’s not pretty. It’s violent and scary, and not for the faint at heart. And it was this realism, as much as the strong characters, that drew me into this story. And now I want more. I have hope that there will be more books about this MC as more rough biker dudes find their own “old ladies”.

Loved the ending. And last, I just have to include my very favorite quote, cause darn it, it’s just so cool. It made me shiver, and made me wonder where can I find me a man like that.

“I want you to be my old lady, babe. That’s all I have to offer. I’m a reaper, and this is my world. You wear my patch, you be my woman and I’ll be your man. We take the good times together and fight through the bad times. No games. That’s all I’ve got and it’s all yours if you’ll take it.”

Reapers Property is a hot and steamy romance that you definitely do not want to miss.
