I found Luke to be sweet, funny, and a bit obnoxious in a good way. That kind of obnoxious that is endearing once you get to know someone. He’s definitely the kind of guy you turn to when you need your spirits lifted.

Alex Shaw is a different kind of animal altogether. Wheelchair bound, he’s a game designer of another sort, working with logic and crosswords. While I liked Alex a lot, he’s a bit too naive even considering his circumstances. While his naivete can be overlooked, the fact that he tends to be self-sabotaging can’t. I get that he’s been hurt before but there are times when he automatically assumes the worst and runs from the confrontation that could explain everything.

Puzzle Me This is a refreshing story of love against the odds, putting people before their circumstances. I loved the concept of luring someone into meeting you via hints in a crossword puzzle. It was fun and unique and utterly adorable. Also, it was so nice to have a hero who wasn’t a perfect bodybuilder kind of man. Puzzle Me This is a sweet, sad, sexy and enjoyable read.
