Politician Won is the third book in the Thresl Chronicles, and it’s another great story. The whole series revolves around these creatures called Thresls that are in big cat form until they meet their mate and then form into their perfect mate, tailored to be exactly what their mate needs.

Zander has been bonded with his Thresl for two years but it has remained in its cat form. Zander, while a very intelligent man who seems to know a lot about Thresls, is worried that because his hasn’t shifted that they aren’t really mates. Zander is a great character and proof that a lot of times the best family is the one chosen, not the one we’re born into.

Leo loves his mate Zander but he fears losing his cat form if he shifts.  Leo is the perfect mate and partner for Zander. His love is very obvious and I love that we get to see the Thresls in cat form longer than other Thresls have been other books. It was interesting to see how a Thresl thinks before they shift forms.

With a great cast of characters and getting to check in on past characters I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I would say that while there is enough information for this book to be read as a standalone that full enjoyment will come from reading the previous books. The Thresl world is a fascinating and beautifully built world that I enjoy visiting every time.

I highly recommend this story, Ms. Kell gives a superb story with love, lust, and a plot full of mystery and intrigue.
