Submission Island—where submissive women can go to satisfy their deepest kinks. But Natalie’s there under false pretenses. She’s a botanist looking for a rare orchid that blooms only at night, and only on Submission Island. She just hopes she can escape the sexy Doms who run the island long enough to find out the orchid’s secrets, and that means pretending to be more submissive than she thinks she is.

Carter doesn’t know much about orchids, but he knows a girl with a secret when he sees one, and he’s determined to discover Natalie’s. To do that, he has to awaken her sexual desires and satisfy her submissive longings—nothing wrong with mixing business with pleasure. He works to earn her trust even as he excites her senses and pushes her to do things she never thought she’d do—not even for science, or love.

I love Sindra Van Yssel’s books, and the idea of a whole island just dedicated to women having every submissive need met intrigued me. I enjoy BDSM books, and this story pulled me in right in. Natalie isn’t an experienced submissive even though she does have dreams of submitting. I liked the extra plot of Natalie trying to find the orchid and trying to get away from the sexy Doms of the island to do so.

Natalie is smart, strong and submissive. I liked that about her, I enjoyed that she was smart enough to take care of herself and super passionate about her science. Watching her come into her own sexual power and reconcile it with the person she was before she came onto the island gave the story a feeling of realism.

Carter is the sexy pilot and Dom who suspects Natalie from the very beginning of lying about her reasons for being on the island. I loved Carter from the first moment he appeared; he was so patient yet firm with Natalie. I want to visit Submission Island just so I can experience even a fraction of the fun Natalie did.

In my opinion, Ms. Yssel penned another delicious BDSM tale that I highly recommend. I want to find one of her Doms and there are still three more at Submission Island, maybe I can have one of them or at the very least their stories.
