Felicity isn’t living the most picture perfect of lives. Married, but in love with another man, she’s had a rough time, but things are looking up, and with divorce papers in her hand she’s all set to go and spend the rest of her life with John, the guy she should have married in the first place. Trouble is things rarely go to plan and in a cruel and violent twist of fate she finds herself in a celestial holding hall, wondering which way to turn.

Miss Me Baby is an interesting take on coming back to earth from Heaven to haunt a lover – or rather have some smokin’ hot sex with a lover – and I was impressed how smooth this ‘unbelievable’ aspect of this book was. Felicity’s conversion to Lisa and the Lis was smooth and all my thoughts as a reader answered.

Once this was set up, and John had a suitable amount of ‘what the hell is going on’ the tale became an interesting plot that had a twist I really didn’t see coming. There was some great sexy moments, some lovely slushy romantic scenes and an ending that was wholly satisfying.

This was my first book by this author. I’d certainly read her work again, the writing style is smooth and easy to follow, the characters well rounded and the story interesting. If you like your contemporary romance with a little divine intervention Miss Me Baby is a book for you.
