I couldn’t read this book fast enough. The writing is clean and the story line tight. There are twists and turns I didn’t see and I had to know what would happen next.

Ben is a scientist. He’s synthesizing rare earth metals from silica. Sounds a tad over my head, but Mr Greene explained the character more like I was listening to my friend talk. Very good. Ben is sweet and unsure, although once he’s talking about science, his strength shows. I liked him right away.

Chase is a piece of work—in a good way. He’s the investor ready to help Ben with his scientific endeavors. He’s flawed and I could relate to him.

I liked the way Mr Greene worked these characters. Even when things come easy, they don’t really end up being easy at all. Yes, I was emotionally invested from page one.  The heat sizzles off the page when Ben and Chase are together. I felt their connection and rooted for them to get a happily ever after.

If you like characters who are memorable and sweet, but flawed, then this might be the book for you.
