Jaleesa, a real estate appraiser, meets Niko Talinos, a real estate developer living in Miami, Florida. Sparks fly–the attraction is hot and immediate. After returning a piece of valuable equipment to her office that she’d left at her inspection, the two finish exploring the attraction and decide there is enough to pursue additional time together.

Niko and Jaleesa fight through her family issues and wade the treacherous waters of his job. The company he is a partner in has been trying to purchase a particular piece of land from Jaleesa, and someone is stealing from Niko’s project to the point they are willing to kill him to keep it a secret.

Despite the odds, Jaleesa believes she has found the man of her dreams, no matter how scary it is for her. Niko agrees that the risks to his heart are worth having the love of life, he just needs to survive to prove it to her.

Jaleesa Greer is a property appraiser in Coral Gables Florida, she owns ‘Your Favorite Appraiser’ which used to belong to her uncle James before she bought him out. It is late in the day and she has one more property to appraise, and being that its Florida, it is hot as hell and all she wants to do is finish so that she can go home to a shower and a glass of wine. As she’s checking the outside of the property, the door opens and there stood the most gorgeous man. She soon finds out that he is the nephew of the homes owner and she is completely drawn to him.

Niko Talino didn’t expect to see a beautiful black woman staring back at him; he was expecting someone entirely different when she told him she was the appraiser. When she told him that she had to come inside to check it out and Niko was more than happy to let her in. The attraction was so strong that after checking her work he asked her out. Before she could answer, Niko was kissing and touching her and she was doing the same to him.

The chemistry between these two characters was explosive, it was the kind of attraction that most women crave and very few experience. Niko and Jaleesa burned up the pages, with their interaction both verbal and sexual. This story wasn’t just about sex, it was about love at first sight, trust and respect two people developed for one another. There were also villains, people who were out to kill Niko, and someone who wanted to harm Jaleesa. I found it amusing when Niko’s estranged mother met Jaleesa for the first time. Wait until you read it… I bet you laugh.

Jaleesa’s Pleasure had everything I enjoy in a story: likeable main characters–even the secondary characters were engaging–a little mystery and of course, a very endearing love story.

Erosa Knowles has won me over and I look forward to reading more from her, and I think others will enjoy reading Jaleesa’s Pleasure. Pick up a copy and judge for yourself, you won’t be sorry.
