This is a lovely, spicy M/M romance that I greatly enjoyed. The sex between the two men was deliciously hot and prolific. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Silver and Kian – who are relatively young at nineteen and eighteen respectively – find each other and come together to have their first serious relationship. Readers should be aware there are a few “hot button” issues touched on within the plot – self-harming and HIV – but I found overall the book was written tastefully and these issues added to the story and weren’t just thrown casually in. I also enjoyed the very strong secondary characters, and indeed found myself drawn into their stories as much as Kian and Silver’s.

This is a very emotional, character driven story. The plot itself pretty much revolves around Kian and Silver’s relationship – and that of their close friends. This was plenty, however, to keep me interested and quickly turning the pages. I’d happily read more stories – especially if one were to be written about Silver’s flatmates, Damian and Josh.

A strong, intense story that I can highly recommend.
