This is my first story by Ms Wylde and I enjoyed her writing style very much. It’s to the point without losing description, it’s well-crafted and certainly very sultry. The story is told in the first person narrative, one my very favorite POV’s, and Kendra’s descriptions of her lover Melissa are great. Melissa is pierced and inked and I could see her standing vividly before me as they shared dialogue and more.
In My Skin is a short story, there isn’t a whole heap of plot, but when you pick up one of these quickies you know it’s just about the characters getting down and dirty in the quickest way possible. But still, I enjoyed how In My Skin made me like Melissa and Kendra and become invested in Kendra’s dilemma and how Melissa helped her through it. The sex is hot and steamy, raunchy and rude; I wasn’t disappointed.
