The third book in the Bears series, we were introduced to Sammy, Slater and Brock before, but this is the first time we really understand what Sammy has gone through. They had her the ups and downs and made plenty of mistakes together. Parts of the story were a little bit over the top but overall I think it’s an enjoyable paranormal love story.

Sammy was a very damaged character at the beginning but she definitely fights her way back to her old self. Some of the way she reacts to situations may be triggers to anyone who’s been abused.
