I enjoyed seeing Clayne and Danica reconnect. Once Clayne finds out the truth about why Danica left him all bets are off. The two make a wonderful couple. Not only do the two have to deal with their own emotions but they have a case to solve. A killer is on the loose and only they can stop it. The attraction between Clayne and Danica is always there no matter how hard they fight it. Watching the two find the happy ever after that they longed for was a nice read. It was nice to see the two willing to fight for the love that they have a chance at.

So far I am enjoying this new series. This story moves quickly and I was pulled in to not only the romance but the action as well. It was also nice to see the couple from the first book in this series make an appearance in this book. Paige Tyler has built a wondrous world around these characters and certainly has me wanting more.
