One man by day, the other by night. With cowboys this hot, who needs sleep?

Country Fever, Book 1

Eight months after her lover, Holden, went off to join the Alaskan fishing fleet, Laurel gave up on him and soothed her broken heart by focusing on her dream of owning a small organic farm. Now her crop is growing—and so are her feelings for Jens, the hunky rancher who owns the land she’s tending.

Behind her affection for Jens, though she hides a secret: she still aches for Holden. If Jens knew she once loved his best friend, she fears he’ll walk out on her, too.

When Holden returns to find his girl in Jens’s arms, he’s nearly crippled with jealous rage. And with fear that she’ll run away from them both unless they figure out a solution—fast. It’s Jens who comes up with the crazy-hot idea to share her.

As their three-way dance of seduction heats up, the sexual and emotional barriers fall like dominos. But now it’s Jens who’s holding onto a secret. One that could not only destroy their tenuous bond, but leave them all without a home.

When there are two men fighting for one woman’s love, what woman could refuse that?

Laurel is in love with two men. One is a current boyfriend who wants to get a little closer to her, while another is the man who left her behind and didn’t bother to call for almost a year. She’s dating Jens and although she’s fallen for him, she doesn’t completely let him into her heart or body. She still longs for Holden, the man who left on a fishing trip and didn’t return.

Holden dreams of coming home to Laurel, putting a ring on her finger, and settling down with her. Sadly, when he returns, he finds her in the arms of another man. Not just any man, though, his best friend Jens.

The last thing Jens wants is to ruin his friendship. He is torn. On the one hand, he loves Laurel and will fight over her, but on the other he views Holden as a brother almost and would be devastated to lose his friendship.

The characters in this book have something to gain and something to lose. Can they learn to share?

Okay, so let’s start with Laurel. I loved her. She was sweet and passionate but also had flaws that made me smile. Once or twice she became insecure when noticing another woman’s perfume on one of her men. She is a good cook, but a horrible cleaning lady. I loved watching the heroes trip over her laundry or try to clean her room. Poor girl is a hoarder!

Now for the heroes… I honestly had a hard time picking which hero I liked more. They both had something that appealed to Laurel and to me. Holden was dark and passionate, while Jens was the kind of man you can talk to for hours.

When they decide on the ménage, that’s where the magic happens. My favorite sex scene in the book was the turning point when Holden and Laurel invited Jens into the bedroom without him actually being there (you’ll have to read it to know what I’m talking about). And then the first sex scene with all three of them.. oh… my…..

Besides the sex though, there is a plot and an emotional storyline connecting all the characters. I definitely enjoyed this book and intend to read other works from this author. Well done!
