Book Two of the Eye Spy, Chronicles Of Liza Radley Housewife Detective, series brings back the antics of Liza & Jack who are knee deep in dognappers and heiresses at their newly opened Crimes Of The Heart Detective Agency. In between their investigations the will they or won’t they drama of their complicated relationship is still front and center…and in the middle.

I couldn’t wait to read this book. I couldn’t imagine that it would be as good as book one (Eye Spy), but I kept my fingers crossed. I was rewarded almost immediately. I found myself giggling as the story began. So I settled down to enjoy this book and was never disappointed.

Jack and Liza met in Eye Spy when Liza was trying to find out if her husband was cheating on her. He was. Now they are running a detective agency called Crimes of The Heart. Their specialty is tracking down information on cheating spouses.

This is not your usual detective story. I chuckled through each chapter and the smile really never left my face. These are very unique detectives. I could hardly wait to see what they would do next. And believe me, there was plenty happening.

Each chapter is hilarious, yet it all makes perfect sense. The best thing is, they are not trying to be funny, they just are. Even the weekend when Liza spends two days with three friends at a spa, which turns into a mystery for her to solve.

There are a lot of exciting and somewhat scary episodes, and a lot of hidden tensions in the relationship between Jack and Liza. All are really fun.  They get involved with a dognapping, and dog fighting ring which they stumble across. They even get involved with a spy ring. There is just one thing after another. It is so much fun to read and watch them solve everything in their unorthodox manner.

This book was every bit as good as the first one, and I give it 5 stars.
