Finn Brennan is used to his brother playing practical jokes, but this time he’s gone too far–sending Finn a woman as a ranch hand. And not just any woman, but a Marine.

When 1st Lt. Camilla Walker’s commanding officer asks her to help out at his family’s dude ranch until he returns from deployment, she never expects to be thrust into a mistaken engagement to his sexy, cowboy twin–a former Navy SEAL who hates the Corps. But before long, Cammie is wishing their fake engagement could be real.

The Corps took Finn’s father, his girlfriend, and threatened his naval career. He’s worked hard for another shot at getting back to active duty. The last thing he needs is a headstrong, unyielding, hot Marine who not only tempts his bed, but soon has him rethinking his goals.

I enjoyed this sweet and romantic story about two wounded hearts finding a place to come home to and helping each other to heal.

Ex-marine, Camilla Walker is happy to help out when her CO asks her to lend a helping hand at his family ranch until he gets home. She shows up ready to work, only to find out that she is a complete surprise to man who runs the place.

Cowboy rancher, Finn Brennan, is flabbergasted when his prank playing brother sends a female marine to help out at the ranch. Being a woman and a marine, Cammie has two strikes against her in Finn’s book. The ex-seal blames the marines for costing him his career as well as the woman he loved. He’s a stubborn cowboy and she’s a feisty marine, and I enjoyed this story so much once they warmed up to each other and the sparks started to fly. I enjoyed the wicked bantering back and forth between these two stubborn souls. The best part of the book for me was watching them fight falling in love and then loosing their hearts in the end.

This was a romantic story about two broken people finding the strength to heal and start again. A mistaken engagement leads to some hilarious scenes, but the essence of the story was the romance part. It only took me about two hours to finish it, but then again, I was so caught up in the story that I couldn’t put it down. It was a fun and entertaining story, and I’d recommend it as a light, enjoyable read.
