Brennan McGuire is a man who struggles with everyday tasks, including just being able to order a fancy coffee and knowing the right amount of money to give, but even a traumatic brain injury can’t stop his instincts from kicking in and pushing the very attractive Keegan Monroe out of harm’s way.

Ms. McKenna hits the ground running with the action and the intense attraction between Keegan and Brennan. Keegan is the perfect man to help Brennan unravel the memories from before and they’re definitely very compatible in private.

I loved the suspense aspect to the story and while I suspected who the villain might be, Ms. McKenna kept me guessing and I think that’s a mark of a great suspense story, when I can’t guess who the villain is before the big reveal. The love story between Keegan and Brennan evolves from a high stress situation but does so in a way that I was easily enchanted with the idea of them living happily ever after. This is a story that I highly recommend to fans of romantic suspense stories with a lot of spice.
