‘Bared to Him’ by Sierra Cartwright

Tempted by the billionaire…

When stern, handsome, powerful, and rich Phillip Dettmer offers to all make Myka Monroe’s BDSM fantasies come true, she’s oh so tempted. She has always dreamed of being with a man who would be relentless in his expectations, a Dom who will push her to the edge, giving her the climaxes she craves and the bondage she needs.

But she had never imagined that Phillp Dettmer would lay her bare to him, mentally and emotionally as well as sexually, or that the experience would change her life forever, leaving her stronger and more able to ask for what she needs…

‘Made for Him’ by Desiree Holt

She had one weekend to convince him she was made for him.

Micah Sheridan is a self-made billionaire who has the world at his fingertips. He can have any woman he wants but they all seem to leave him unfulfilled. What he really wants is a woman who can submit to him completely in the bedroom but who is a strong person out in the world. An equal match for him.

Enter Teri Choate who heads an executive search agency. She’s searching, too—for a man who can master her in bed yet allow her strong personality to flourish beyond the bedroom door. The chemistry between them is so explosive it should come with a warning. When a few nights together reveal she is as addicted to BDSM as he is, he has her flown to his secluded Maine island.

She has one weekend to prove to him she can be the perfect submissive in the bedroom and an equal beyond the bedroom doors. In short, a woman who is made for him.

As a sub, Shara wants to prove to herself that she’s the one who is really in control.

Shara is about to get a paddling, one that will test her pain threshold and take her to new levels. The stud-covered paddle will undoubtedly hurt, but she’s determined to show her Dom, John, that she can take whatever he can give her.

John is determined to show Shara that saying their safe word when she can’t take any more is an act of trust, not one of her being weak. Her safety is his primary concern and he will stop play if he feels she’s approaching the point where even subspace won’t save her.

Together they go on a journey of discovery, where Shara battles with relinquishing that final nugget of herself she’s always held back. Will she trust him enough to admit he was right and she was wrong?

‘Come to Him’ by Justine Elyot

Her submission is for sale — but is the price he paid for it enough? Or are the stakes higher than she realises?

Erin has her future all planned out. A postgraduate qualification, leading to a life in academia. There’s only one snag — she needs money. Taking her inspiration from the story of a girl who auctioned off her virginity, submissive Erin decides instead to offer her services to the highest bidder for one month. She only needs enough to pay for her studies, so she’s not quite prepared for the size of the winning bid.

What kind of man would pay a million pounds for a love slave? The kind of man who hides himself away on a remote fortress in the middle of the sea and does his errands by helicopter. Thrown into an unfamiliar world of luxurious isolation, Erin knows she will need to be strong to tough this contract out. Will Erin’s submission please her new master-for-a-month? And what if a month isn’t long enough?

‘Die for Him’ by Amy Valenti

She’s meant to guard his body, not to get up close and personal with it. But anything he wants, he gets—and he wants her.

Billionaires aren’t amongst Mia’s favourite clients. She’s a bodyguard, and in her experience only the morally defunct alpha males make the big bucks. So when she’s assigned to guard Dean Tremaine’s luscious body, she doesn’t expect to be more than superficially attracted to him. He’s getting death threats from disgruntled employees, after all. Why would she find him irresistible?

She might have underestimated how much she wants him, but he’s just as used to getting his own way as she expects. And when her main concern is his safety, the last thing she needs is for him to disregard her instructions, or to distract her with his provocative behaviour.

When he holds a business meeting in one of the private rooms of a local fetish club—a club he just happens to own—Mia’s ability to concentrate on her job is put to the ultimate test. She’s a newbie to the BDSM scene, and the kinky atmosphere of the club is more titillating than she’d ever have guessed. Not only that, but Dean is just as dominant sexually as he is professionally, and despite the death threats and her rejection of his advances, he seems determined to seduce her into submission.

Can Mia persuade the sexy billionaire to keep his hands off her for long enough to protect his life? Or will his reckless pursuit of her affections lead to disaster?

Reader Advisory: This book contains a heroine who won’t submit for the first time unless her billionaire proves he can control her, rough sex, nipple clamps and the devious use of a vibrator. There are also scenes of violence unrelated to the kinky fun.

This anthology gives us six different stories from different authors all centered around a woman giving their submission to the men that they love, each of which just happens to be a billionaire. Each story takes the characters on an intense ride and if you enjoy reading about submission being pushed to hard limits than this may be a book for you.

Bared to Him gives us Phillip and Myka’s story. A chance meeting and a special book brings these two together. Myka is intrigued by Philip and his rules but when he tears down her barriers too far Myka is scared away and Phillip must search inside himself for some important answers. Both Myka and Phillip are strong and independent characters and seeing them have to dig inside themselves to find the inner strength to ask for what their hearts truly want was a nice read.

In the story Made for Him, Micah has invited Teri to his special hideaway. Teri is determined to show Micah the love that she has for him and that she can take all that he can dish out. She is much stronger than he thinks and wants what he can give just as much as Micah wants to give it. Micah is afraid to show people his true Dom. It was nice to see Teri’s reaction to his enjoyment of giving pain along with pleasure.

Waiting for Him is about a loving married couple that enjoys a different lifestyle. On this particular night Shara and John have a play date. She is determined to receive more and more intense paddling and John is trying hard to give Shara what she wants but wants her to understand that using a safeword only makes you stronger not weaker. I enjoyed seeing the inner turmoil that both Shara and John go through. Their love is so strong and it shows through in all that they do.

Come to Him gives us Erin’s story. She finds a unique way to fund her schooling. Yet when she arrives at the place that is to be her home for the next month Erin begins to wonder about her choices. The man she has given herself to is so out of reach that Erin begins to doubt she can stay for the whole agreed time. Once Erin breaks past some of “Sir’s” walls things begin to change and we get to see that he may just have a heart hidden behind all those walls.

In Play to Him, Rhiannon must decide if she will take a chance on Sebastian and his love. When he asks her to play her music for him she knows he is asking for so much more than just a concert. Sebastian has found his muse and will stop at nothing to prove to Rhiannon just what she means to him. Watching Sebastian do all that he can to seduce and satisfy Rhiannon made for a sweet read.

Die for Him has bodyguard Mia trying to keep Dean safe from the death threats he has received for the big change that will take place in the companies that he owns. Dean has other things on his mind than protection from Mia. Until the threats become to real and Dean sees for himself just what danger he truly is in. The attraction between these two is hot right from the start and watching it grow into much more was a nice read.

Each of these stories brings us not only a hot read but also a romance between the two characters. I enjoyed seeing the characters find love but I found that I did not fully connect with them. It felt as if there was not enough emotions and connections with the characters themselves. The spark was there for me but I was not pulled into their stories.  However, although these stories may not be favorites for me I did enjoy many of these authors and will look for more from them in the future.
