I could imagine them younger, at college, stealing glances at each other, her doodling his name in the back of her books. The thought of him, a gorgeous guy growing into his dominant role, learning the right way to be with a woman who he’s asked to submit, was also a nice sideline to the book, had it been a longer story, this would have been nice to learn about.

As it was this was a one night novella about what happens when after all those years a couple finally admit to their attraction for each other and address the rules of the D/s relationship. Told from Tracey’s POV Darin is one seriously hot Dom, and he certainly gets it just right for her. The sex is explosive, I adored the dialogue between the characters in the action scenes and the way the author described the setting and the evening was great, I felt quite the voyeur.

Blow out the Candles is a smokin’ hot read that will all but melt your e-reader, perfect for immersing yourself in on your lunch-break or for getting you in the mood at bedtime. I will be looking for more work by this author.
