Sometimes love is stronger than death.

Former foster child Gabriel Jacobs is determined to make something of his life. Easygoing and more comfortable in a pair of old sweats than the Brooks Brothers suits he will have to wear when he finishes his law degree, Gabriel is also a naïve romantic looking for love. That turns out to be a problem when the ghost of Adrien Beauchene, the son of a French plantation owner, makes an appearance in the house Gabriel just moved into. Adrien is convinced Gabriel is the reincarnation of his slave turned lover, a man he has spent 160 years waiting for.

Before long, Adrien gains control of Gabriel. He vows not to be parted from his love again, even if that means Gabriel must join him in the spirit world. But Gabriel’s best friend, Scott, won’t give up without a fight. He enlists the help of a gypsy witch and twin warlocks Jaivyn and Jaquan to keep Gabriel safe. As Adrien tightens his grip, Gabriel begins to fade, and Jaivyn grows desperate. He and Gabriel just met—Jaivyn can’t lose him now….

Have you ever read a novel that right after reading the last sentence you pause and try to gather your thoughts because the author took you so far to another place that you have to adjust your mind back to reality? This is what Beyond Love did for me. J.A. Harmon had me totally enraptured in his writing that I am sad the novel had to end.
In case, you have issues in resolving relationship conditions where buy viagra on your own, seek out a counselor or psychologist if your kid is over five years old and still having episodes of separation anxiety. It’s not a topic that can be discussed next canadian pharmacy cialis with your group of friends or even your partner out of fear of ridicule. It refers to an activity in men and best price on levitra women to recover them from sex problem. Increasing age, cheap viagra no prescription stress or work pressure can take a tool on your sex life, leaving you and your partner can start by touching, licking and biting thighs, belly, penis tip and lips.
The author has many great talents. One is creating believable characters such as Gabriel Michael Jacob, who has been in several foster homes during his life and Scott Thomas, who was brought up in a wealthy home, but shunned by his parents when they found out about his sexual preference. Gabriel and Scott have been best friends for years. They attended Ole Miss together and decided to attend law school in New Orleans. Gabriel gets a great deal on a sublet house….that happens to be haunted. Gabriel doesn’t have any ghostly scare tactics that scared him away such as with the prior occupants. In fact, the ghost that haunts the house likes Gabriel, thinking he is his former slave-turned-lover. The ghost only shows jealously when Scott comes around. Scott, being the friend that he is has concern for Gabriel’s well being and he seeks out Natosha, a gypsy palm reader who possesses the gift of sight.

Mr. Harmon’s second talent is building a plot full of humor, suspense, paranormal, historical events and a loving bond that even death can’t break. Gabriel is drawn to the love and affection from the ghost of the house, and he starts to get weak in strength because Adrien Beauchene, the ghost who has been hunting the house for 150 years, is drawing upon Gabriel’s energy.

Natosha is unable to help Gabriel so she contacts the twin supreme warlocks and night club owners, Jaquan and Jaivyn Roumain. All of them commit to breaking the curse that holds Adrien hostage in the house and saving Gabriel from being pulled into the spirit world. In doing so they come upon many past secrets that impact each of them. Again, the plot is so well put together it’s like each character is a piece to a puzzle and the house hunting of Adrien is set in place to get all the parties/pieces involved to fulfill a precognition.

This is a hugely entertaining tale that I wasn’t able to put down. This skillful storytelling is so moving it, I was enthralled from the first page. I am truly glad I had the pleasure of reading such great work and I would hope to read more work from the author in the future.
