Spotlight on authors -- featured interviews
We are pleased to welcome Jane Toombs. Taken In came out in January from Champagne Books. It's the first book in her Dacon House Trilogy. Each of the three books in the series features Dagon House and it's ghastly history, although each book in the series are very different.
In February, she released Terror from Before, the third book in her Dangerous Darkness series, published by Red Rose Publishing. Each of the books in this series features one of the Special Op guys that was introduced in the first book of the series, Shadow on the Floor, and what happens to them when they return to civilian life.

We are pleased to welcome Tammy Falkner and Ava Stone of North Carolina, also known as Lydia Dare, whose newest book The Wolf Who Loved Me was released this month.

They are currently working on the tenth book in their series—the story of Archer Hadley (one of Dashiel Thorpe's younger half-brothers), Viscount Radbourne, and Lady Sophia Cole.
Each of the authors are also working on their individual series. Tammy is writing the second installment in her Unpardonable Errors series, which will begin with A Lady and her Magic in September, and Ava is writing The English Lieutenant's Lady, the second installment in her Heroes Returned series, which will be out this summer.  Read the interview here
We are pleased to welcome Heide Katros, whose latest release is Mystical Viking, a paranormal historical novel. This is not Heide's first foray into the paranormal, however. In fact, she doesn't view things as paranormal—ESP runs in her family and, in the early 1700s, one of her family members was burned at the stake as a witch.
"She was all of seventeen years old. My guess is that she saw things that were about to happen and maybe they were bad and they declared her a witch," she explained.

Spotlight on books -- featured reviews

Don’t you just love it when the first book of a series has you itching to buy the second? And the third? Lost in Italy is that kind of book. With likeable, believable characters who find themselves in extremely extraordinary circumstances, this is my favorite Stacey Joy Netzel book to date.
Ms. Hill has turned her favorite theme of irreverent and sexy Vikings and sent them on a journey no Viking was ever meant to go. The result is an amazing array of characters who battle the ultimate evil all the while entertaining readers with that unique sense of comedic timing Ms. Hill has honed to perfection.
Everything about this story calls to me -- the characters, the writing, the wonderful plot. It's heartwarming, emotional, and beautiful. I'd love to see more stories like this out on the market. Ever Together gives me hope, a new perspective, and I could read this novel over and over again, and fall in love with the story like it was the first time.
Grace Burrowes’ exquisite writing style and her focus on the hero and heroine while weaving in subtle side stories make phenomenal reading. Her descriptions and ability to plumb the depths of the characters’ emotions keep the reader in the moment of the action.
Ms. Deen even manages to add social conscience, ethical vs unethical business practices and the green movement into the mix. With the added plus of well-defined characters, great descriptions, and flawless writing, this short will have you logging on to see what else Ms. Deen has written.
